Apple’s iPhone 17

Apple has just announced its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models and also the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, which takes the place of the Plus. If camping out on release day isn't your style, but you still need to grab one at the earliest opportunity, you'll be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, in advance of the September 19 release date.

The iPhone 17 gets a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after much anticipation (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally gets a 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside, Apple’s new A19 chip is more powerful and more energy-efficient, particularly when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you will notice a huge bump in speed and improved gameplay thanks to ProMotion.
Camera wise, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and much more impressive.

Getting ready to switch to the new iPhone 17?, you can rest assured that you'll have a wide selection of cases available, with Campad Electronics, a well-known Australian retailer, already listing a large variety of cases for all iPhone 17 models, from slim and sleek designs to more robust and durable choices.
